Aloha everybody!!!!!

Just another week gone by in the mission field. We got our original car back on Wednesday, and they fixed the dent in it, so we're happy about that. We still didn't do a hike yet, I guess the zone leaders don't want to do hikes anymore in the morning. Don't really have a lot to talk about this week except that we went to Stake Conference at BYU-H on Sunday. It was pretty cool. President Dalton, our Mission president spoke at the conference, and talked about missionary work and how it's expanding, he said that by the end of the year they're going to have close to 100,000 missionaries throughout the world! When the conference was over they sang Aloha Oe to the mission pres. and his wife because they will be leaving in July. After the conference we ate lunch with the YSA branch in the parking lot and took pictures of the BYU campus and the temple. We are trying to schedule a baptism but the parents of the investigator are super hard to get a hold of so this week will be mainly getting a hold of the parents so we can schedule the baptism. So that's our week. Hope you guys have a great week!!!!

May 13, 2013

I had a great day yesterday! I had a great time talking on the phone with you guys! It's great to hear your voices, and i'm glad that you're doing good.
Our week last week started off kind of slow and on Wednesday we had to take our car into the auto shop to fix the dent on the car and they said it would take a week to fix it! So we've been walking for 3 days until we could get a temporary car. Walking in our area is hard, our area is so spread apart, but we still tried to work. Up until Saturday, our week was slow, but on Saturday and Sunday we had a lot of success! We found 6 new people that invited us to come back and teach them and their family! So hopefully this week we can meet with them and teach them also. On Sunday we went tracting in the rain for 2 hours and said "happy mother's day" to everyone we met. So our week ended pretty well.

May 6th

Aloha everybody!
My week has been good. We were able to do service in Pearl Harbor again on Wednesday! This time we swept the deck on the Battleship Missouri. There were 22 of us so we split up and 11 of us went on the left side and the others went on the right side. Our group was on the sunny side, while the other group got to work in the shade. It took us about an hour to sweep our side with the tourists occasionally coming through where we were sweeping. After sweeping the deck, Kevin, the guy who always tells us missionaries what to do, took us down into the engine/boiler rooms and told us all about the ship and how it works. All of us learned a lot there. Kevin likes to have fun with us. Last week we found a good person to teach. She is going to BYU and has member friends so she is a good person for us to teach. other than that we are still working hard with our investigators that want to be baptized, and have a goal for baptism set. We are looking forward to this month for our investigators to be baptized, and for being able to call home on Mother's Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love you guys!
